Kaymar Developments Ltd. was formed in 1997 when the directors of HBL Builders Ltd. agreed to take on the Signature Homes franchise for the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
Kaymar Developments Ltd. remains a sister company with Hanlen Builders to this day and is specifically involved in quality new home construction only while HBL Builders Ltd continue to carry out industrial, commercial, institutional and alteration construction work. HBL Builders Ltd have operated in the Whakatane area continuously since 1947.
Kaymar Developments Ltd. selected the Signature brand because of Signature's insistence on quality control and continuous involvement with clients. The final product reflects their client's aspirations, lifestyle and the very closest attention is given to every detail. Signature Homes always endeavour to produce top quality homes and will not compromise on materials or methods.
Our New Home Consultant is likely to be your first point of contact with our organisation and will help to provide you with your first concept drawings should you choose to go with the design and build option rather than select a standard plan. They'll also help you select the materials and fittings you will need to complete your home. This has to be completed at an early stage so that pricing is accurate and construction can proceed without delay.
Once the design stage has been completed Graeme Hanlen will be responsible for drawing up contract documents and obtaining consents.
Just prior to the commencement of construction we will introduce you to Marc Burgess, our Project Manager. Marc's role is to see the project through in an efficient and stress free manner. This position is a very important one to the whole project, as Marc is responsible for communicating with our clients, business partners and the Signature office. Marc will administer any variations to the contract requested. His thorough and methodical systems will ensure your project is properly organised and supervised.
In the office Sandra Pettigrew will be taking care of the administrative side of the business. They are fully briefed at our weekly meetings on each contract and are in a position to assist you with any queries along the way.
The "Introduction and Pre-Construction Meeting", with the clients and the Signature Team, is where we get to meet each other, to learn everyone's roles and the processes involved. This meeting is vital to the smooth running of the job.
