'Thank you very much for building me such a delightful home. It is a solid, tranquil house with a safe, cosy yet spacious feel to it. I look forward to coming home to such a special place. Thank you, Sean, for listening to my design needs, questions about the building process, and suggesting new products and design features. And making last minute changes to the house site with patience and without one sigh! I very much appreciated the ease with which I was able to communicate with you during this time. Bobbie, I enjoyed being the first one to try the day of shopping for fittings and furnishings. What might have taken me several weekends, we did in one day, with the retailers having been alerted to our coming beforehand. I very much appreciated your attention to details, your helpful suggestions and responding so quickly my many lists of queries in getting the documents ready for the building consent. I found it very helpful to have the plans printed out in 3D as well as 2D by Nick and was relieved by his ability to change the plans when we had a few minor design problems to solve. I also liked the detailed lists of specifications. Barry and his team were great to work with, with Barry taking time to update me with what was being done, each time I visited. They paid such care to the building framework and the detailing. It was most reassuring for Barry to explain to me the steps taken to ensure that my house would not be a 'leaky home' – it has restored my confidence in the building industry. Barry and his team were great to celebrate each stage of the building process with, and I shall remember fondly the table under the trees, the pizza and buns, and my first party in the kitchen. Thank you to all the subcontractors, some of whom I never saw: the bricklayers, window makers, roofers, plumbers, drainage and tank people, electricians, kitchen makers, plasterer, tiler, heating installers, painters and others. The quality of your work is high and the end product much appreciated. Thank you to Bruce for finding such good tradespeople and for managing their contribution to the house building. I very much appreciated Maryanne's friendly and welcoming smiles when I came into the office. It was so good to be recognised and spoken to by name. The detailed ways of recording changes and costs was very helpful in trying to keep to my budget. David, you have a great team and because of this, I have a great house!'
