Since opening their doors, the Signature Homes Canterbury team have found huge satisfaction in their work. "I absolutely love dealing with new homes," says Mike, "People come in and we get to turn their dreams into reality." Rhys & Mike were also attracted to the Signature Homes Brand because Signature Homes is so highly respected in the New Zealand residential building world. The company was originally established in 1983 under the ownership of Fletcher Challenge, and several current members of the organisation have been involved with the company since its inception. Key Team MembersRhys Gould – DirectorRhys Gould is a General Manager with 20 years experience in Construction and Civil Engineering. He has held senior management roles in finance, information technology & telecommunications, operational management, project management, mergers and acquisitions.Rhys has a B.Com in Accounting and Management from Otago University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the International Project Management Institute (PMI), an Associate Fellow of the NZ Institute of Management, and a Provisional ACA with the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mike Gould – DirectorMike is a Registered Electrician and has over 23 years experience in the construction industry, including 4 years experience in the franchised home building industry as owner of a prominent residential building franchise in the North Island.Kathie Gillespie – Sales ManagerKathie has had over 15 years experience working in the building industry – initially working for a developer selling new sections, and then working for a prominent residential building company as a Sales Consultant and then Sales Manager.Kathie has an extensive knowledge of the design and build process from working with clients to help them make the initial decision as to which section best suits their requirements, choosing the correct home plan, specifications and design changes through to contract stage. She has worked closely with architects, and has extensive experience working with clients to fine-tune a home plan to their requirements. |
