Our Resources
We're based in New Zealand. A land of extremes. Extreme climate, extreme terrain, and extreme earthquake risk. Because of this, New Zealand's Building Code is amongst the most stringent in the world.
New Zealand is also a land with a plentiful supply of high-quality timber from sustainable forests. New Zealand has a heritage of building homes from timber. Advanced timber housing technology has had to be developed to meet the stringent standards of the New Zealand Building Code. The Code requires structural stability to be maintained for at least 50 years.
Our Technology
We at Signature Building Systems International have taken this advanced timber technology and used it to develop a magnificent range of quality timber home designs which have made Signature a leading brand in New Zealand since 1983.
We have developed our timber technology even further to enable our homes to accommodate the very different conditions and market demands outside of New Zealand. For example, timber can be treated for high humidity and termite protection.
