The Signature Homes Story
One of New Zealand's longest established residential housing companies, Signature Homes began in the late 1970s under the ownership of this country's largest industrial company, Fletcher Challenge.
Originally, the Signature Homes' business was based on manufacturing homes using a solid timber building system. But since being purchased by Gavin & Anneta Hunt from Fletcher Challenge in the mid-1990s, Signature Homes has focused on meeting the needs of all New Zealanders with quality timber-framing and other forms of construction.
In 2000, the company also developed its network of Franchise Builders along world-class franchising best practices. Each Signature Homes Franchise is independently owned and operated under licence to Signature Homes. The advantage for you is that you're able to deal with your local Franchise Builder while at the same time sharing in group benefits such as better buying power.
Signature Homes is a member of the Franchise Association of New Zealand (FANZ) which promotes high ethical and business standards and practice by Franchisors in New Zealand. Signature Homes has won the FANZ Business Leadership Award and has been a finalist in the Franchise System of the Year Award.
As well as winning franchise awards and quality awards for homes we've designed and built in New Zealand, we are also an award-winning exporter. You'll find Signature Homes residential housing and resort developments in Japan, Korea, China, Australia, the Maldive Islands, Tahiti and Hawaii.
